Studio1a is currently on long term rental and UNAVAILABLE!. This is a multi-use facility suitable for tracking, mixing, and rehearsing music, as well as shooting photos or video.
Studio1a is (16'x12' + 12'x12') and has a 10' ceiling. The space is setup for dual-use as both a photographic space and an audio space, Studio1a has removable baffles for sound dampening when used as an audio space which can be removed for an additional fee. The space is "L" shaped and features unique 12' 1950's yellow tile walls & corners, a 12' faux brick wall, and 12' a faux industrial wall.
Our rehearsal rates are not competitive with many other rehearsal studios around town. If you just need a rehearsal space, try one of those linked under the left-hand menu.

Is there a setup fee?
The first time you visit we'll need a credit card on file, with a signed authorization up to the value of the equipment you're using.
Do I need to enter my credit card details to sign up?
Peerspace has it's own rules.
Is there a minimum?
The Rehearsal and Photography space rates have no minimum. All other packages have a 2-hour-minimum.
Are there discounts?
Hours 4, 5, & 6 are 25% off. Hours 7-10 are 50% off.
Are there "day rates"? Weekly rates?
Yes, our space rates translate to:
- $30/hr is $200/day
- $50/hr is $300/day
- $75/hr is $500/day

Audio
Why use the Record Yourself plan?
If you want to record on your own workstation/software, we can provide a simple interface for your system, vocal/recording mics, and you'll get access to our vocal booth as well.
Why use the Full Recording Rig plan?
The Full Recording Rig includes a Midas 18x18 digital interface and an optional computer preconfigured and licensed to run ProTools, as well as use of the vocal booth. Microphones are available for an additional $3/hr for as many inputs as you'd like to capture.
Why are your rates so high for rehearsals?
